    Neuroscience
    Umberto Olcese (University of Amsterdam)
Do inactive (and inactivated) neurons contribute to visual perception?

    June 11 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
MB 7/159 Universitätsstr. 150, Bochum, Germany

Umberto Olcese’s work combines systems neuroscience, perception, and neural dynamics to address fundamental questions about how neuronal activity shapes conscious visual experience. The talk will explore the intriguing possibility that not only active, but also inactive or experimentally inactivated neurons may play an important role in visual perception.
