Abstract: Studying grid-like representations in the human brain using fMRI is challenging due to the need for long scanning sessions and complex data modeling. To address this, we have developed a novel behavioral paradigm designed to quantify grid-like representations based on principles of cognitive mapping and neural co-reactivation. In this talk, I will present unpublished behavioral results from a series of studies and propose a neuroimaging study to validate this new paradigm. We aim to demonstrate that this approach provides a simple, accessible alternative for measuring grid-like representations in humans.
