Towards Linking Neural Mechanisms and Behaviour
March 20 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
In this talk, we explore approaches to bridge
neural computation and behavior. In the first
part, we examine recurrent neural networks
and show that task dynamics arise from a
low-dimensional connectivity subspace. In
the second part, we investigate in-cage
training in socially housed rhesus macaques
and show how reward design can promote
balanced participation and engagement
without compromising task performance.
