SUMMARY:Neuroinformatics Renate Krause (Zurich) Towards Linking Neural Mechanisms and Behaviour
DESCRIPTION:In this talk\, we explore approaches to bridge\nneural computation and behavior. In the first\npart\, we examine recurrent neural networks\nand show that task dynamics arise from a\nlow-dimensional connectivity subspace. In\nthe second part\, we investigate in-cage\ntraining in socially housed rhesus macaques\nand show how reward design can promote\nbalanced participation and engagement\nwithout compromising task performance.
